Report
Answer three or four simple questions to find out which body actually has the power to act on your case. Environmental associations issue opinions and apply public pressure, but they usually have no enforcement powers on the ground. The bodies listed here do.

These organisations play a technical and public-pressure role: they produce studies, submit opinions to consultations, take cases to court and give struggles visibility in the press and in parliament.
What they usually do not do is inspect on the ground or force a body to act immediately. That is what the entities above are for. After reporting, if you want to add public pressure, check the map for who is already fighting that case.
Before you call
A report is far more effective with photos or video, phone coordinates, date and time. If it is inside a Natural Park or a Natura 2000 site, say so in the first sentence. Always ask for the complaint reference number.
